We’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at our latest project—a hybrid grass tennis court harvest. Unlike football pitches, this tennis court turf is unique, designed to replicate the performance of high-end courts with a perfect balance of bounce, firmness, and playability.
The turf is crafted using a clay content root zone, providing the firmness and bounce required for tennis. It’s sewn with 100% perennial ryegrass, mown down to just 7mm. Once laid and marked, the court will be ready for play almost immediately.
Our meticulous harvesting process ensures each turf roll is sprayed with non-toxic paint for precise placement, reducing cross joins in the main playing area to avoid disrupting play. The court’s turf is darker than our football pitches due to the clay, giving it both strength and aesthetic appeal.
We’re proud of the teamwork behind this project. Once the turf is delivered, it will be installed by our sister company, Fineturf. We can’t wait to see it put to the test by top players, ensuring it meets the highest performance standards
