A Stunning Week at Springwood: Golf Turf in Top Form
This week at Tillers Turf, we returned to Springwood, and what a spectacular week it’s been! After enduring the coldest spell of the year, with temperatures dropping to -4°C, the sun is now shining, and our golf fields are thriving.
Our greens on soil have never looked better, showcasing an exceptional sward that’s a testament to our team’s dedication. Mowing, leaf collection, dew removal, and precise crop protection are all in full swing, ensuring our turf remains in peak condition. The precision of our GPS-guided sprayers minimises waste and overlap, optimising efficiency while delivering the highest-quality product.
Our Greens on Rootzone are a standout this week. Composed of bent fescue, it’s grown on USGA sand for instant compatibility and outstanding playability. The vibrant health and quality of this turf are simply stunning.
Additionally, our revetting turf is in high demand during the renovation season, perfect for bunker edges and links course fairways. Built on a responsibly sourced substrate, it’s matured over 3-4 years to ensure strength and sustainability.
Finally, our Golf Arena turf is being harvested in outstanding condition. As always, we recommend laying your turf immediately upon delivery for the best results.
